Add a task with a due date without requiring a specific due time.
I would like to be able to add a task with a due date without having to add a specific due time. Perhaps you could add a “none” option to the due time drop down list.

ErikComing from Todoist this would be great, most of my task only need a due date, not time.

TomAdding a time is an extra step, or just plain confusing, unless absolutely necessary.

MikeCompletely agree on this. Amplenote's current structure for dates forces time blocking which isn't always compatible with every job or work style. A simple "all day" shortcut would work great for this.

Shocker FanYES. In my world "events", meetings, and appointments are on my calendar.

A "Task" is something to be done and maybe on a specific date. But, not necessarily at a specific time. Don't block my calendar as that may mislead me that i can't schedule a meeting at that time -

PeterI totally agree.
There are a lots of things that are due at a specific date, which do not belong in the calendar at a specific time. -

AlexanderYes! In addition, its much faster on mobile to quickly organize things I'd you don't need to enter a time.

Sami PajuThis + Due Date / Start Date as separate things would be on top of my wishlist.

Hugo100% Useful! It will make the process of planning the week ahead way more smooth. I at least really like firstly assigning some tasks to X, Y, Z day (or even simply week) and then having the option of either block time for some of them, and the rest keeping them in a sort of backlog to do when possible.

DavidTickTick lets you add a task date but not a time. Then i their Calendar view task without a time on that day show at the top. Nice feature as it will show up on that date but doesn't clutter your calendar time slots.

John SmithThis would be very useful. I don't do much timeblocking, and the calendar is generally my "hard landscape" where I list concrete demands on my time. The task list isn't that.

AngeloBased on some of the comments, I see two needs: 1) setting the due date with or without an optional time to make filling out a task quicker or to not have to pick a specific time, and 2) having an alternative way to plan which tasks to tackle that does not involve scheduling out one's daily calendar.

This last point is of particular interest to me because it's how I work and what's missing from Amplenote right now for me. For some tasks with hard deadlines, I do schedule those on my calendar. But for most of my tasks planning, I like to simply organize them into a list or "Daily Agenda". It sounds like the developers are working on tackling this so fingers crossed. -
