Drawing / handwriting (iOS)

Ability to draw/hand write, particularly on iPad. Currently I paste screenshots of GoodNotes - not even close to an ideal solution. Appreciate this one is probably a big effort :)

Agree Meeting notes, being able to paste slides in, take extra notes... probably a big endeavor as BW mentions but would be amazing.

Trying to use rocketbook to scan my handwritten bullet journal where I use markdown notation for my todos and links such as [[]], indents and - [ ].

It doesn’t work very well though being able to have every note as an email destination makes it seem like it should.

It would be great if one could handwrite using markdown and then just scan it when I have a moment with amplenote to a note email link (or an inbox as a note/jot) and have the text already embedded and formatted in markdown text, backlinks and all, rather than have to always unpack it from an image.

There is sketch currently for the ipad app but it doesn’t allow you to edit the sketch and doesn’t give you an infinite canvas which can be seen from the likes of Evernote. I hope this will be upgraded.

On Chromebooks there is a stylus API that you could use to add handwriting and drawing to the PWA. It would be awesome if you could implement that. It might even work on other desktop platforms since it uses Chrome to work.

As someone who handwrites meeting notes on an ipad it would be great to be able to handwrite these notes within the amplenote app without having it considered an image. Currently I run out of space in the image and the feature does not recognize my handwriting well. It would also be great to handwrite tasks and jots. I am happy to make a video of the use case if it would be helpful! :)

I know there is now a way to handwrite in the app, it however is fixed and you can scroll the page.

Would love to have this feature. Been watching the development of the app from the sidelines. Thing preventing me from trying out app is the fact that I cannot sketch/ edit drawings (I use visuals extensively) combined with other lacking features

This feature would make me being to more seriously consider the app. Like what I see with the app. though
