  We would love to see it too. We'll definitely work in a good implementation for code highlighting, including keeping indent level, once we can justify it.

  I'm using Amplenote for a lot of code-related note taking at the moment. It's mostly about concepts with the occasional code fragment. Not having IDE autocomplete is actually a feature here, since it helps me actually remember the syntax. But when reviewing the notes later, it would be great to have them syntax highlighted.

  I'm a dev, so yeah 60-80% of my notes in a day involve some sort of code reference. Throw in a little ADHD and who knows what language I'll have noticed and hyperfocused on that week. So yeah I *need* syntax highlighted code blocks, and I'd *like* a fairly robust highlighting engine such as shiki.
