Mobile: Add "Jot" to QuickEdit on bottom
Mobile Jots is still too clunky and slow. What do I mean?
Let's say I got a random idea in my head, and I am holding my smartphone (Android, by the way). I whip it out, unlock it, open Amplenote, press the burger icon in the upper left, press Jots, press the current day, and start typing. That is a LOT of pressing to get my idea in. At the very least I would suggest adding another button on the QuickEdit at the bottom of the screen that automatically opens the Jot note for the current day.
(A widget would be very nice too; there is a feature request for the widget already, vote it if you haven't and think it's a good idea too. I have.)

Brian Cohen AdminHey Ed, thanks for the recco! The current Amplenote-default path for quickly capturing a new idea on mobile is to user the mobile quick bar, which should always be present at the bottom of the app when you open it. From there, you can either enter your task, or if you tap the blue icon on the right side, you'll be taken to a new empty note. I do think there's an argument that maybe pressing that blue icon should go to today's jot (per the user's Default Shortcut in jots mode), feel free to propose that if you think it's a good idea?
