Outlook Integration
I would really love to see something where I click a button in outlook an it adds a task for me to complete in amplenote.

GadwoodWith a link to original email would be nice to respond fast. Please don’t forget outlook exchange!

ThomasI'd appreciate that a lot; I know the feature from Todoist (and it hinders me to leave there). For my workflows links to emails in Outlook / Exchange are very important:
1) Very quick "reply" or "reply-all" possibility -- I miss that if I forwarded emails to an inbox in Amplenote.
2) The email stays in Outlook and does not leave our Exchange-Server. Amplenote only hosted a private link, what makes the mechanism eligible for approval by our legal department due to privacy concerns (GDPR as well as non-disclosure agreements with third parties). -

Bill AdminOutlook events are visible in Amplenote. I don't foresee us creating a separate mechanism to create todos from within Outlook though, since one can already sync tasks/events both ways between Outlook and Amplenote. If one wants to create a task for completion in Amplenote, creating the task form within Amplenote is the best bet.

MarcSending a copy of the mail text to a task won't be sufficient. What I'd hope to see is:
1) Outlook add-in for bi-directional task-management of actionable emails. The add-in interface would be accessible from the mailbox environment. When an email is selected, the interface would allow a new Amplenote task or note to be created. It could have options for basic task settings (due date, priority) and it flag the email upon task/note creation showing in Outlook that it is "captured" in Amplenote. A link to the Amplenote task should then be accessible within the Add-in pane.
2) Within Amplenote, a link should be embeded in the task/note to directly open the email within Outlook. Marking the task as complete in Amplenote should flag the email as complete in Outlook, and vis versa. When the task is completed, in Amplenote, it would also be helpful to move the message in Outlook automatically to a predefined "completed" folder so I can file it later in Outlook. -

Mendy LImportant to be able to link back to the email in outlook.
Most other NOTE or TASK (todo) management systems allow to send an email and have a link (somewhere in the note or task comments) that links back to the email.
So many tasks require a email follow up. We need to be able to somehow, easily access that email chain. (For Microsoft Office365 and gMAil).
