Downloadable Local Desktop App

The current Chrome app takes forever to load on data on my MacBook.
Even if it is set as a Chrome app it seems to still try to load the website.

Would be nice if we can have a local app for Mac/Windows so that I won't have any problems with it on data anymore.

We've had good luck so far recommending the PWA. If you find that it is taking forever to load, could you email us (support@amplenote.com) so that we can research the cause? A notebook of 2,000+ notes is expected to load in less than 3 seconds.
