Create Amplenote home-screen widgets for Android/iOS
This would make it easy to locate Amplenote on my Android.
Moderator edit: updated title to include iOS too.

LYes please, I'm currently using ColorNote. Would be great if notes and tasks could be displayed in separate 'post-it' widgets (that are filterable by tag, with simple background colour choices for differentiation).

MagnusI would like to add that for a widget to be useful on Android it should:
1
- Be able to be customized in color scheme and/or opacity to be able to fit into most home screen setups
- Possible options for widget views - View all tasks, view latest notes, view notes and/or tasks by tag (choose a tag for the widget)
- Clicking a task or a note should take you directly to that note in the app (this is better than to be able to check off things in the widget as mis-clicks on home screen widgets are very common. -

NakulI'm transitioning from Evernote and Todoist. My go to place to check tasks was my home screen on Android, would be great to have this available with Amplenote.

PikachuAll I want is to be able to quickly check a to-do list in a note on my Android home screen.

Rob FI'd like to see the following widgets on Android:
* Note list - based on a tag or a search
* Task list - based on a tag or search, with the ability to mark tasks complete right by clicking the checkbox in the widget
* Single note - shows the contents of the note (scrollable), with the ability to edit within the widget (by clicking an edit icon, long pressing, or whatever)
* Search
* Toolbar - Search box, buttons for new task, new note, etc. Perhaps configurable so that the user can have multiple "new task" buttons (for example) for different tags, choose to not have the search box, etc.
All of these should be resizable, so that they can be made to fit into the user's layout. -

SanchezAs a new amplenote user widgets would make it perfect! I am so happy with the app so far but to have the option of putting task up on a widget or notes or anything from the app on a widget would make this app a perfect addition to my productivity folder

RickySome ideas:
- Widget for displaying notes based on a tag
- Widget for displaying tasks from a shortcut
- Widget for quick-capture of thoughts and ideas -

Lucian AdminThanks for your ideas Ricky! All of those things will be possible in the first version of widgets we're releasing very soon!

Bill AdminNow live with three widgets available as of launch: https://www.amplenote.com/help/mobile_ios_android_widgets_tasks_agenda_calendar
We also have an iPad-specific calendar/agenda view coming in the next few weeks. Android quick action widget just went live yesterday.
