Amplecap: Capture main article text with full formatting
When capturing a page I prefer to capture the main text of the article, with formatting. The current Amplecap makes it difficult to do that. The closest is the text selection but there is no formatting saved.
Any navigation elements, etc surrounding the main text should not be included.

Bill AdminSince one of our Core Customer Values is to keep our data readily exportable (https://www.amplenote.com/blog/core_values_robust_export_fast_cancellation_always_listening), we're avoiding all types of formatting that can't be represented in markdown. That said, you can use the "Full page" option in Amplecap to get a full page screenshot of the content in question, which will retain the visual formatting, and can have its text pasted into the document using our OCR pasting if desired

Keith CollyerIf you select a web page's content and copy it to the clipboard, you can paste it into AmpleNote and it retains formatting, at least for all instances I have tried. The current text copy method pastes plain text, which is pretty useless. I have given up using AmpleCap for this reason. Who on earth wants a screenshot of a full web page?
