left pane sticks collapsed in calendar view
Whereas the left menu pane toggles from collapsed to expanded in jots, notes, and tasks view, it seems to stick collapsed in the calendar view, even if clicking the bottom left symbols. Do I miss something, or is it a bug?
I assume I can select tags like in the note and tasks view if the left pane is accessible?
I observed that on Firefox, on MS Edge, and on Google Chrome.

Lucian AdminHey there Thomas!
Calendar mode shows your schedule on the left (on the actual calendar panel) and your to-do list on the right (that is unscheduled and overdue items).
We've designed Calendar mode to allow you to "filter" the things you see on your schedule by switching between Task Domains (you can have up to 3). A common use-case is to set up separate Task Domains for Work-related and Personal tasks respectively.
You can also filter the things you see on the to-do list (check this out: https://www.amplenote.com/help/calendar_visual_guided_walkthrough#Active_Note_Selector). You can choose to only show tasks coming from particular notes as well as only show tasks coming from notes tagged with a particular tag. This is mostly what I imagine you might use the side-bar on the left, which we've disabled in Calendar mode because the filtering functionality is in the right-handside toolbar now.
Let me know if this is a satisfactory explanation! -

ThomasHi Lucian,
thanks for your reply. Basically I wanted to point to an inconsistency in the UI which was already corrected in the meantime.
Best regards
Thomas
