Quick Tasks on Desktop

It'd be great to have this feature on all platforms.

Agreed! We're in the process of pursuing this from multiple directions:
1. A not-distant version of Tasks View mode will have the same quick task selector that we recently added to Calendar mode on desktop
2. A not-distant version of Amplecap will be able to be invoked globally, without needing the web browser to be focused. So whether you're in Amplenote or another app, you'll be able to quickly add a task.
Both should be available in the next 1-2 months, I think?

I just submitted a new suggestion for Quick to-do on all "pages" (Jots, Notes, Tasks, Calendar) instead of just calendar on Web to match the behavior on mobile, after searching "Quick to-do" and not seeing it. That being said I would like to again suggest Quick to-do be on ALL pages in Web/Desktop, not just Calendar (and maybe Tasks).
