Folder or Nested notes support
Tags require more effort. Hierarchical organization simple and effortless.
For example, I have different projects and I should create a projects tag and after that, I should create projects/project-a and projects/project-b.
After this point, if I want to create a Marketing note for project-a, I should have tagged it with projects/project-a and I should change the name from Marketing to Project A Marketing. Because if I want to add a Marketing note to project-b I have to find a way for differentiating notes from each other. This is very confusing.

Lucian AdminHey there Eser and thank you for your suggestion!
Support for folders has been requested in the past, and we've always given the same response, which is that nested tags can be used just as if they were folders: they can be nested just like folders and they can be browsed just like folders by clicking on the tag name.
Differentiating between two notes with the same name that are part of different projects should be pretty easy if you filter by the respective project name (that is filter by the tags project-a or project-b). There are existing requests out there for displaying the tags next to the note name, which should make this distinction easier when no tag filter is applied, so make sure to upvote those.
As far as nested notes, this is probably another item that we are not going to tackle (at least not the way apps like Notion do it), since it would introduce unneeded complexity. Hierarchy is already possible via the use of nested tags & notes can already link to other notes. -

AlIt's better without nested folders. It just takes some time to learn how/if the amolenote environment will work for.you. It does take some trial and error, but the tag system is effective if you combine it with a good naming convention for your note...in my opinion
