Search for tasks
Like the main search feature but a way to only search tasks and not all note content.

Fin MergedIn the calendar view, all tasks can be filtered by parent note or tag but cannot be searched. Please add a search field to help me find a specific task and drop it in my calendar.

RaulPerhaps my main friction using Amplenote is searching tasks.
I have created many tasks in different notes (> 300) and when I want to search a specific task I am not able to find it in a few secs.
Sometimes, I use the search engine but it returns many results and even if I find the note where the task is located, it takes extra time to locate the task in the note. In fact, usually I have to use the browser's command Ctrl-F to find the task in the note (about 30-60 secs)
Other times, I use the task view and I apply filters (context, notes, tags...). This option it takes about a minute too, because I have a lot of tasks and I have to apply several filters one by one.
I propose an implementation similar to Ctrol-O, I quickly open any note in less than 5 secs. I would like something similar in tasks. With a new command such as Ctrol-T Amplenote returns only tasks and when you press in one of then, Amplenote direct you exactly to the task in the note where is located. -

MatheusI'd like to say that AmpleNote now has a function similar to this. Hit CTRL + O and it will open the search lookup, then hit CTLR + / to change to task lookup, now you should be able to search for tags and open the note they're from to see what was it's context.

Pat NimsI see that this request is marked as done, and the search by Task option in CTRL-O is great, but could't there also be task search window option when looking at the task view? Thanks!
