Embed YouTube videos inline
Now that we have inline video support, we should consider ways to allow YouTube videos to play directly inside the note body?

Bill Admin PinnedNote that, in addition to opening and viewing Youtube videos as Rich Footnotes, it is also now possible to open them in the Peek Viewer as described here: https://www.amplenote.com/help/inline_open_pdf_youtube_more

JoseThis is important. Logseq has this AND you can write notes while the video plays: the text is timestamped so you can click and go to that part of the video. Really handy to learn from youtube

WoodySince I've discovered this in Logseq I've been hoping all the other note-taking apps get it. It is so insanely useful to play a lecture from YouTube in a note and take notes while watching it inline.

KyleYou could enable the ability to embed not just videos but any other webpage like an external google doc or miro board with "iframe" or something similar. Please add this!

At the bare minimum I expect amplenote to automatically recognize when I paste a youtube link and replace the link text with the video's title and show the thumbnail without needing to click on it to edit. Copy the way that Miro handles it.
