Hide empty jots / notes
I often have jots without anything in them, essentially taking up a lot of space and making it cumbersome to get to the ones that do have content. Some sort of toggle to hide jots or notes in general that have no content would be a great fix

Lucian AdminHey there Abraham! Thanks for your request. While you're making a good point, I've marked this as "Not planned", as hiding empty notes seems a bit problematic, especially for users that use backlinks extensively (this use case tends to create a very high number of empty notes with a lot of incoming links).
As far as avoiding empty or otherwise unwanted notes, here are two tips:
1. Use tag filtering? You can type "in: ^daily-jots" to exclude all Daily Jots from your list of notes.
2. Use Quick-open? Hitting Ctrl-O lets you jump to any note/list of notes with a particular tag, with very little visual clutter and while also being very fast.
Let me know your thoughts. -

Mark SeagoeI don't understand the problem with hiding empty jots? I only use jots a couple times per month. When I look at my Jots, all the space is filled in with useless empty pages, because Amplenote for some reason creates an empty jot page every day with a #daily-jots tag for absolutely no reason. If I understand correctly, the solution is to add a #useful tag or something to be able to filter out all the useless empty pages?

Lucian Admin@Mark, please note that Jots aren't actually created every day, unless you place the cursor inside the "virtual jot" and type something in it. That is, for days that you don't write anything inside the Jot, it will not be created.
If your case is that you tend to create Jots and then move everything out of them, I'd understand how that might be an issue, though. In which case a separate feature request to support filtering out empty notes would be great.
