TacoBuenoYes! I don't want to have to switch to Google Calendar every time I need to change or add an event. The point of having a Calendar mode is severely diminished if it doesn't work like a real calendar and you have to keep switching apps. I would like it to work like Motion or Akiflow's calendars.

TomAbsolutely! It's a big disruption to flow. Currently using Amplenote calendar for time blocking my tasks on a shared Google Calendar. If I need to modify any events that other people have created, it means jumping across to Google Calendar, adjusting the event, and then back to Amplenote to continue time blocking. If there are a handful of Google events that need to be reshuffled, it can really grind the process to a crawl.

RogerIf the idea of Amplenote is that I don't need to use multiple apps but it is all in one place, why doesn't your calendar work like a real calendar? Why can't I just add an appointment (having a coffee with someone) directly in it?

Roger MergedAs I understand it, Amplenote wants to stop users needing to switch between different apps to get things done. The calendar really doesn't fulfill that ambition at the moment, since it is geared to adding tasks to your schedule, but not meetings / appointments / events. These are things that (usually) have to happen at a specific time and in a specific location, whether physical or virtual. I want to be able to add a meeting in Amplenote, set it up as a Zoom or Teams meeting, note the physical location, invite other people to it, and so on. All the basics of a calendar.

Irving MergedWith Google Calendar, I can add in a location to an event. I have this linked to Waze which automatically sends me a reminder when it's time to leave for that event. However, now that I've started using Amplenote to manage my calendar, I'm not able to enter in an address to an event. I have to create the event in Amplenote, then go to Google Calendar and enter in an address.

MoisésThis would be a game-changer. To be to be able to modify events as if it was the calendar app itself. Meaning: addition, removal, update of events & its inner fields. Thanks for consideration!
