Mark calendar events from Amplenote as private
My work calendar is shared with my coworkers, so the can plan meetings with me. Private calendar events are marked as private of course.
Can events created by Amplenote be marked as private by default?

Lucian AdminHey Claus. Can you please elaborate on what "private" means in the context of Google or Outlook calendar? Note that in Amplenote you can select the specific calendar you share your tasks to, so you can pick one of the private ones for "outgoing" events.
I've marked your suggestion as "Not planned" for now, but please let me know in case I misdiagnosed the issue here! -

Lucian AdminThanks for clarifying, Claus! Marking as "Under consideration".

Ryan BeckI found I needed this too. As a workaround, I have a separate google calendar just for Amplenote Tasks. This way my coworkers can't see the tasks, as it's not my "true" calendar. But it would be helpful to have a private event to show that I'm not available at that time - as it is time dedicated to completing a task.

NickI have the exact same use case as others here. Interestingly, the help documentation actually seems to suggest it would work as desired.

Under the section Calendar Sync it says "the task details will be propagated to all synced calendars as a "Private Event" so that only you can see its details". This is not how it works. Tasks are propagated to synced calendars as a "Public Event", so anyone who can see my calendar can see me scheduling a task called "Brush up my CV".
The perfect solution for me, as a GSuite user would be to have the option to choose how published events (amplenote tasks) appear when synced to GCal. Either Default Visibility, Public or Private, exactly as GCal offers.
Thanks for considering it!
