Expose triggers for task completion in IFTT

Daily jots act as an 'inbox' to the funnel. Reviewing the jot to organise new information into notes is the next stage of the funnel.

Part of that new information that could help keep projects moving would be to record completed tasks into the daily jot, to then be processed to define/create the next step as a new task.

Alternatively, this could be achieved by adding an IFTTT trigger when a task is completed, then it could be up to the user to set up this integration themselves

Hey Stuart. In the meantime I've marked your request as "Not planned", but I'm sure once we clarify this we can create a new one. What do you mean by "recording completed tasks into the daily jot"? Would that imply duplicating completed tasks into the jot? Thanks for your patience!

Hi Lucian,

Yes, but not as a task. When you completed a task a copy of the text task would be added to the daily jot, maybe crossed out to be consistent with the new crossout function

On reflection though I think the ifttt trigger, which someone else mentioned on Discord at about the same time I raised this, is the better solution
