An Agenda View for Calendar so you can see next x number of tasks/appointments rather than having to scroll in a time view.

AnthonyTake a look at the Google Android app and the agenda view for what NOT to do :D
It looks like someone showed up with a flashy graphic and they just went with it, there is no way to disable the background images in the android app. -

Adam PHey, I think it would be extremely useful to have an option in Task View that would be "Group By Due Date". The default groups could be: today, tomorrow, This Week, Next 30 Days, > 30 Days, No Due Date. I think this would be useful as I go through and look at all of my tasks across all of my notes and I can make sure I don't have too much load. I can also do this from calendar view but I don't want to have every tag available on calendar domains.

AndyMI was coming to add exactly this suggestion. It'd be very helpful for a few use cases, mostly involving crowded calendars where a few items end up in the same slot:
- viewing completed tasks for the day. The recommended way is to use the calendar, but for people who work away from their computer and then come back to tick off all the tasks, this can end up with many tasks scheduled at the same time, meaning that you see only the first few characters of each. Agenda view would solve this by spreading them out.
- working with overlapping tasks on mobile (iOS). The mobile calendar doesn't handle overlapping tasks/appointments well, which is reasonable as it's limited by screen size. An agenda view would enable these overlaps to be spread out so you can see all the tasks.
- add the task checkbox on the mobile calendar. I assume it's missed now because it doesn't fit on. In a list, there would be space.
- see unusually early/late tasks, it's easy to fail to scroll and miss them
