Cancel "taks domains" and just let all tasks automatically show in the calendar sidebar
I was excited to find Amplenote until I found out that I had to manually connect each note/tag to a specific task domain to be able to see the related tasks in the calendar mode. So every time I write a new note or use a new tag, I will have to remember to connect them to a specific domain? And what if I already have 500 notes and 189 tags? It would be very tiring to connect each of them manually.
In my opinion, the more reasonable design of the calendar section may be: there is only one calendar, and we don't need to manually link notes and tags to different task domains, you just allow all tasks to show on the calendar sidebar, and we can use well-designed filters to control which combination of tags/notes/task scores we want to schedule or show on the calendar.

Lucian AdminHey there CT! Thanks for your suggestion. Have you tried using the "Show all scheduled tasks" option?

JocelynYeah...that ONLY shows tasks that have already been scheduled in the calendar; it doesn't show all tasks in the side panel! I have only one calendar (unemployed and I don't want separate domains). I want all my tasks to appear in one place (the side panel) so I can schedule them. Yes, I've seen the info in https://amplenote.featureupvote.com/suggestions/118904/automatically-add-selected-tag-from-tag-pane-to-new-note and https://www.amplenote.com/help/control_auto_tagging_of_newly_linked_notes, but those only work from existing notes or tags and are just clunky and bizarre workarounds, frankly. Why not a toggle to see all tasks to the right of the calendar?
I don't have confidence in adopting apps with mandatory hyper-opinionated workflows. I abandoned Owaves purely because they insisted household chores could only be added under "flow time" = "enjoyable/fun activities"...like, what? Stop with the the friction and gatekeeping and have the UI let us do what we need to do. It's a toggle.
