Add Web Share Target to PWA
Hi, loving the app and I do enjoy using Amplecap to capture content from the web. I use Amplenote on a Chromebook and I would like to be able to quickly capture content from my Android applications into Amplenote without needing to install the Android version of Amplenote. I'm sure it would be convenient for web capture as well for those who use a lot of Chrome extensions and want to cut down on some that they have installed as well. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Lucian AdminHey Kellyn! Thanks for submitting your suggestion. I've marked this as "Not planned" for 2 main reasons:
1. I'm not sure I understand the relation between sharing from Android and PWAs; there's probably a case for people not wanting to install a particular Android application, but for the foreseeable future the native Share Sheet will have to be the main way of sharing from mobile;
2. We do have a Native App planned for the near future, which should make capturing from non-mobile devices easier (without Amplecap). -

KellynHey Lucian,
To clarify, PWAs can show up as an option in the Android Share sheet in Android apps. This would enable Chromebook users to capture content from Android apps directly into the PWA. Currently, you would have to install the Amplenote Android app to make this work but since the PWA works so well it wouldn't make sense to install both the PWA and Android apps at the same time. For a Chromebook user, a native desktop app wouldn't work here since Linux doesn't have a native share function.
