Give overdue tasks a higher Task Score
I'm new to Amplenote and noticed a weird feature of the Task Score: I had a task that was due yesterday and I forgot to do it. Today, I was surprised to find it pretty low on my task list. I almost didn't notice it.
When I rescheduled the task for today, the Task Score did the opposite of what I expected: it jumped UP from a 2.6 to a 12.6.
In my mind, I would expect its Task Score to be, for instance, 12.6 when overdue, and then 10.6 when I reschedule it for today.
Shouldn't the fact that a task is overdue significantly increase the task score so that overdue tasks appear at the very top of my task list when the list is sorted by Task Score? Otherwise, overdue tasks are only visible if you click the small circle on the Calendar view to display them. This makes them easy to forget.

cuteness_overload MergedOne thing I really like about amplenote is the task score, which makes it possible to just have one view of your tasks and usually pick the right ones to do. However, this does not really work for tasks with a due date - at least for me:
As far as I can see, the task score for tasks that are due today is increased by 10 points. This makes it very likely to "catch" this task and complete it on schedule.
However, if I fail to do the task on the due date (i.e. it becomes overdue) it won't get that extra 10 points, which, to me, makes the due date feature somewhat less appealing, as I regularly fail to notice those tasks (I do not necessarily have a look at my task list every day) -

DavidFor others struggling with this, I just discovered a semi-fix: sort the Tasks view by "Start Time" instead of "Task Score." What I realized it does is: shows tasks with a start time in order from earliest to latest at the top (what I wanted) then below it shows tasks without a start time sorted by task score. This is pretty much exactly what I wanted. I just didn't know it was possible. :)
