add global ability to turn auto-archive on and off.
Simply want to turn the feature (not just for specific notes). I have a lot of reference data saved and it's annoying to do this page by page

Lucian AdminHey David! There is an existing feature request to enable such a functionality on a per-tag basis, so please make sure to upvote that if you want. For now, the team is inclined to not offer ways to disable auto-archiving for all notes, due to the various performance impacts that implies.

UrsI appreciate the performance considerations, but I'm experiencing significant workflow friction with auto-archiving. With 1,499 total notes and 1,334 of them auto-archived, I frequently need to reference archived notes using [[]], and the current system makes this unnecessarily complicated and frustrating.
1,499 total notes seems rather small by today's standards. Could you share which operations would slow down and at what note count these slowdowns become noticeable? -
