A tool for optimizing task sets within time constraints by task scores and duration(s)
Creating a tool that efficiently selects sets of tasks to fit within a user's limited time—optimizing for task duration's and scores—would be highly beneficial. This tool would address the combinatorial optimization challenge (similar to the Knapsack Problem) by favoring higher-scoring tasks while fitting in lower-scoring, shorter tasks when necessary. Additionally, allowing users to hide certain tasks from consideration would help tailor the task set to their preferences.

Peter Mattingly MergedIn task view, tasks have colors associated with their task score. Red is associated with high scoring tasks, yellow for tasks with a moderate score, blue for low scoring tasks, and a lack of color for tasks with scores near zero.
My suggestion would be to have a simple way to filter tasks in this view based on score. For example, show only "red" tasks, show only red and yellow tasks, etc. This would be helpful to prevent the number of tasks seen in the task view from being overwhelming. -
