Allow text highlighting

While it is not strictly markdown, it would be useful for some to be able to apply highlighting to text, e.g., a yellow background that resides behind text.

This is useful to be able to apply "Progressive Summarization" as popularized by Tiago Forte.

The "Progressive Summarization" connection is valuable intel, thanks! Presumably we would invoke this with a hotkey like CMD-H.

Now invoked using Ctrl-H on PC, CMD-H on macOS, or by enclosing text in ^highlight^

CMD+H on MacOS is used by Mac to hide a window.
Therefore it is unusable, try it on Chrome Mac.

Map another shortcut please.
