Aaron BYou can duplicate notes so should be able to just setup a couple templates and duplicate as needed.

VinceYes, but it doesn’t copy tags and duplicate is hidden in the second stage menu of each note. Perhaps a shortcut key for duplicate?
I’ve raised a separate feature request to maintain tags for duplicated templates too as I think this will make it easier. -

VictorTemplates for notes would be awesome
* It's hard to use my old roam templates for AmpleNotes b/c make a bullet point or header line isn't as easy as just pasting in `* ` or `### `. AmpleNotes requires that the user types in the formatting characters and press space by keyboard. -

Bill AdminWe're calling "Templates v1" complete with the introduction of template creation via Quick Open the ability to add tasks to a template without having them show up in a Tasks View. Check out the full details of how to use templates on Amplenote here: https://www.amplenote.com/help/using_note_templates

Sami PajuA v2 would be nice where, for example, when creating a new note from Calendar event, you could apply a template to it.
Right now the Quick Open method is incompatible with this.
A possible "easy" way to implement this would be to copy Obsidian, where you could have a shortcut or menu item to "Apply template" and clicking it would allow a selection of Note from a specified #templates folder/tag. What it would do is simply copy all the contents from that Template note into the current note.
This could be in the extended ... menu. And possibly would require a setting where user can specify the location(s) for Template Notes (e.g. #templates). -

TomI've just come over from NotePlan, and they have the ability to bring in Event name from the calendar, but also really useful details like the attendees, links to the original meeting, meeting location/link etc.
Standardises the note, makes it easy to search by attendees, and is great for writing agenda notes in advance, then minutes and action points during the meeting
