MattAt the least (and would cover 90% of my needs for this function) Would be very useful to add pdf attachments to the email to note facility as a manner of keeping records for a variety of documents which are sent to me by email but I want to use for reference later on.

Matt MergedWhen I email into a note in Amplenote attachments are stripped which isn't very useful when it is the attachment I am trying to keep. I know I can save and then reattach, but rather onerous compared to the competition.

Joe MergedWhen using the Mail-to-Note function to create a New Note, attachments to the email (both in-line and attached) do not appear in the resulting note. Attachments are properly handled when creating a new List Item, instead of a new Note.

StephenThe lack of this feature has been a huge hurdle since switching from Evernote -- it's enough to make me consider going back to the Green Elephant, which I don't want to do!!!

Shocker FanYes, This is a "Must have".
Most of the emails I forward to Evernote are for the purpose of sending the attachment(s) that go with a project.
AND please accept the typical MS files such as Word, Excel, PPT.
AND, please accept the Apple "Pages" and "Numbers". This will cover 98% of any files uses would want to park in their notes. -

Rick ConklinAmplenote has some great features over EN. But not taking attachments is a KILLER.
In EN I often have a project (the project name is tagged on all its notes). Its very routine for a vendor or a customer to send an email WITH ATTACHMENTS, attachments that are critical. The sender often says in the email "see the attachment."
I EASILY forward the email with the attachment to EN.
For Amplenote to be a serious product for me to track / compile all I need for a project, EMAIL Attachments are a "Must Have".
AND - they ought to be the basics types. MS Word and Excel. Apple Pages and Numbers and most of all PDFs. BONUS would be jpeg, png and various image files. (think scanned docs and photos).
Please make this enhancement soon. -

Shocker FanI just forwarded an email from an organization I'm connected to. Turns out the email had several sections and each was an "HTML" block. I forwarded this to EN. Each section had a little label "HTML" but ALL of the content was there.
In Amplenote NONE of the content was there. -

CynthiaSThis is a must have for the reasons the others gave. I'm also moving over from Evernote and not sure I can use AN if this isn't going to work.

Ira DotsonThe ability to send complete emails to Amplenote is a significant aspect of maintaining my workflow. As a former Evernote user, I had the ability to send the complete email to Evernote. If it was something that required action, I sent it to my inbox. If it was information, I would send it to the appropriate notebook. This feature gave me the ability to review and examine emails that required action. In my opinion, this is a necessary addition to Amplenote.

Shelly MiddletonTo me, this feature should not even need an upvote. Including the attached pictures should be a part of receiving the entire email.

LiekeOh my... was getting ready for switching from ticktick to Amplenote because I liked the task score and integrated tasks + notes functionality, but not being able to send attachments by email is a dealbreaker for me so I'll stick with ticktick for now. Thankfully I found this out early in the process because the very first task I created by sending an email contained an attachment... could only see the attachment on my mobile device because the task item linked back to the sent email, but that doesn't work on my laptop, which doesn't have my work email on it.

JulianMost of my usage centres around handling pdfs the first step of which is to capture it. Some of the marketing I have read for Amplenote was around replacing other apps. I don't really want to have to save a pdf to a drive then go back to that drive to import it from there. i'm not sure why the attachments get stripped from the email is it Gmail when sending or Amplenote not being set up to receive it?
