Add more context (task's source-note) to the calendar for tasks without dates. => Grouping!
At the moment the undated tasks have no reference to the note they are created from.
For example I have the Tasks from all my projects in a calendar domain. Now I often end up having similar tasks in two projects (e.g. research). When it comes to scheduling it would be very helpful when there was a option of grouping (just like in task view) by note. This would allow to see from which project (note) my tasks originates from and help me decide whether this is important or not for this week or day.

Jack Elliott MergedWhen I want to plan my week, I go to the Calendar mode and then look at the right side of the screen to see all my unscheduled tasks. However, it is not possible to see which task belongs to which note, and, without this information, I cannot get the context of that unscheduled task.
Let's assume that I am a writer. I write blogs. I might have a task named "Write 500 words" in two different notes. Each note is the title of the blog I am collecting notes for. When I am in the calendar view, I see two tasks named "Write 500 words", but there is no way I can see which note that "Write 500 words" task belongs to - unless I manually click on the down arrow, and then click on Edit details.
In the Tasks mode, there is the option of "Group tasks by note". Since the Calendar mode is all about tasks, I believe it makes the most sense to have the same feature in the Calendar view.
Thank you. -

Jack Elliott MergedAmplenote Calendar mode shows the unscheduled tasks on the right side of the screen when we are in a task domain with tasks that does not have a start date.
It is not possible to see which note a task belongs to at a first glance, Today, in order to do that, we need to click on the down arrow icon next to the task, and then click on the edit details.
Instead, clicking on the down arrow could show the name of the note a task belongs to at the top of the box shown in the screenshot. -

SFATI would add more suggestions on this
- source note under the task name/description, without requiring to group
- source note added to the calendar item/block to give more context in that view, otherwise for tasks that have generic names/descriptions it's basically impossible to know what they refer to when looking at the calendar. Perhaps the calendar block could be: task name [source note], eg: research [trip to canada] -

Angelo MergedThis is 100% needed! Currently, the list of tasks in Calendar mode is a long jumble of tasks without any notes context, which seems like we're failing the entire premise of Amplenote. There are actually two features that are needed in Calendar view/mode:
1. Allow for grouping tasks by Note, and then sort by some other metric - exactly the same as in the Tasks view/mode.
2, Also, there needs to be a quick way to look at or go to the source note for each task. Ideally, there would be a little note symbol with each task that we could click on to be taken to the source note or it would open up, and we can quickly get back to the list. -
