Link to tags
I use tagging to structure my notes, so for example, by selecting a tag I can see all notes related to a project, or I can see all notes of a certain type.
It would be useful to be able to link to a tag in a note e.g. [[#my-tag]]
The link would behave as follows:
- clicking on it would take you to the notes view pre-filtered by the tag
- hovering over the link would show a preview with a list of note titles tagged with the tag, which would act as a mini index you could click on each one to take you to a specific note

Lucian AdminThanks for your suggestion, Stuart! I believe this is doable. In the meantime:
1. This is already doable to some extent and with some extra effort; you can just create a link to "https://amplenote.com/notes?tag=<YOUR-TAG-NAME>". A text expanded to quickly insert the leading part of that URL could be useful.
2. Can you think of any advantages that this feature would have over the existing tag selector in the sidebar? -

StuartHi Lucian,
Thanks - I have Amplenote running in a Chrome shortcut window (whatever that's officially called) so didn't realise a tag had its own URL. The only problem with it is that links open in new tabs which interrupts the flow of navigating around Amplenote.
So that's the main advantage: ease of navigation. I tend to build indexes and links within my notes, so clicking around like a wiki is quicker than changing view, expanding my tag tree, finding the tag I want etc.... Having the preview window of notes with that tag also helps jump around quicker -

Jack ElliottI also support this feature.

For example, I have #work, #personal and #people/#family tags already in place. In my note, I would like to be able to link to #family by writing, "today, I was thinking about my [[#family]]". Clicking on [[#family]] would show me the list of notes that are tagged with #family.
I am well aware of the inline tags and it is a brilliant feature. But what I am referring to is much simpler :) Just being able to conveniently place a link to a tag page by using [[ keys :)
