Ability to lock / unlock app with password or Face ID
Because of privacy concerns, I would really like the ability to lock the app using a password or Face ID. I know that the iPhones already have the phone lock, but having it on an app level would provide an additional layer of privacy.

Jack Elliott MergedI would love to have a password / Touch ID / Face ID protection on certain notes for an additional layer of security.

Jack ElliottHello Lucian,
Thank you for merging my feature request with this one. I saw this feature request prior to creating mine. This feature request was primarily focusing on having a platform-level password protection. My feature request was more specific: Making "some notes" password protected (password protection unique to a note) while keeping others protected on platform-level.
I thought I should clear this. -

Lucian AdminThanks for the clarification, Jack. I merged these two requests because it seems like an upvote for one would also signify demand for the other. Your comments will be useful when/if the team gets to implementing this, but until then, it probably helps this cause to have the vote count merged.

John MergedEvernote's free plan allows this for and for those us that keep things like SSN's in our notes, would be helpful to have just a second layer of security without having to type in a while password.

Lucian AdminiOS now support per-app Face ID lock. Please leave a message if this is desired for other platforms too.

AlanI would like to have this for the desktop app (MacOS). iOS 18 has the option to require this for -any- app, so it doesn't matter whether Amplenote implements it or not. But MacOS does not.
