Task Domains\Advanced Settings: Check box "Don't Mark Published Tasks as Private"

2 votes

In our small business, we have multiple users that would like to be able to share notes and tasks via a shared Outlook calendar with two-way sync.

I have accomplished this by creating a calendar from Employee A's Outlook account and sharing it to Employee B with full edit permissions. I am able to create a task and schedule it via AmpleNote which then publishes it to the calendar. Employee A (the sharer) can see the events. Employee B can see the events but only as private events. No details are available.

I can manually uncheck "Private" within Outlook for these events and Employee B can now see content, but if anything is changed for the task within AmpleNote it re-flags the event as "Private"

Ideally, a simple check box to not mark publish tasks as private within the Task Domain area would greatly improve functionality in our use case. This would allow a project manager to filter various tasks and assign them via a shared calendar interface and should be simple to implement.
