Allow custom reminders, or reminders longer than 1 day

I would like to be able to set reminders for a week in advance or possibly longer, especially for really important tasks.

Currently there are only 4 pre-defined reminder options before due date: 5 min, 15 min, 60 min or 1 day. It should be possible to choose whatever we'd like. The 4 options could be there to choose. But we should be able to customize Date/Time reminder before due date. It could be: 10 min , 5 hours, 15 days or 1 year... It should be left to the user to decide when he/she wants to be reminded..
