need keyboard shortcut for strikethrough formatting

  This would be quite helpful. To add to the possible hotkey/shortcut options:
  
  In Google Docs and Gmail, strikethrough is Alt-Shift-5.
  In Evernote Legacy Windows it's Ctrl-T.

  You can accelerate the schedule for this if you can find a hotkey that is currently unused across macOS and Windows in Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Finding unused shortcut keys is one of the more unpleasant tasks that the dev team avoids.

  This already exists to some extent, correct? If you hit Ctrl + Space, strikethrough is applied to the whole block.

  @Bill, we could use Ctrl-Shift-` (should be unused and easy to remember since it's like Ctrl-~, and we use tilda for strikethrough).

  Ctrl-Space is used in Windows to switch keyboard languages.
  Ctrl-Shift-` produces characters.
  
  I would recommend something with Alt.
  1. Alt-S like Strikethrough or Alt-T like the icon
  2. Hold Alt to allow pressing a number to activate a certain formatting option from the top.
  a. 1 Bold 2 Italics 3 Strikethrough and so on for options that are common and/or don't have a good shortcut
  3. A totally different shortcut to instead activate the formatting toolbar, then allow using Tab or arrow keys (regular, numpad arrows or WASD) to go through formatting options.

  Ctrl+T also makes sense for me because the icon has a T in the formatting toolbar too, just like bold has B and is Ctrl+B and italic has an I and is Ctrl+I.

  Poor little Strikethrough STILL doesn't have it's own shortcut/hotkey. 🥺
  
  I do miss this ability, having grown so accustomed to using alt+shift+5 in Google tools, like Gmail, Docs, and Sheets.
  
  Ctrl+5 as used in Excel would be okay, too. ANYTHING would be better than nothing! 😅

  ctrl-shift-x (upnote) prefer, easy to remember x mnemonic, and press with single hand.
