Bill AdminCan you elaborate on what specific support you would like to see? Does Notion offer this?

Eran SakalHello,
Thank you so much for the great product. I discovered it while looking for methods like Zettelkasten and "Building a second brain", and immediately saw the power of your server. I'm using Notion a lot but I think each fits different purposes. You asked about Notion support for RTL and unfortunately, they also don't support it. Supporting it means detecting that the text is Hebrew/Arabic and wrapping it using <p style='direction:rtl; text-align: right'> or something similiar so the text will be aligned to the right and also characters will be shown correctly. -

AhmadIt was a deal breaker not having RTL support as I was about to transfer all of my notes here but just not yet as many of my notes are written in Arabic language looking closely tho

TomI'd like to add my vote as well to at least a basic RTL support, which allows to combine in the same line Numbers + LTR words + RTL words.
* Dynalist & Obsidian have an RTL option built it.
* Someone wrote a simple .js script for Logseq and it works there too (mobile&desktop)
* Google Keep & Tasks of course
* Taskade has the option too. Also TRELLO.
* Notion & Clickup have user-made chrome extensions for RTL support (though not 100% and not on mobile)
Just to emphasize, we are not talking about having the whole app in RTL mode (menus, etc) - only the actual text-fields used by the user.
Plenty of info on the web how to implement it via css and other methods, without needing to re-write the whole code :-)
I'm no expert though. But like others, need to combine in one sentence English + Hebrew/Arabic + Numbers, without it turning into a mess.
Cheers! -

Avi AWould also love RTL support for Arabic + Hebrew. I'd like to re-emphasize Tom's words - we are looking for RTL support for the editor (jots, notes, etc), not the whole app.

Xayden RosarioThe change should be in the notes themselves and not the entire app. I'm thinking of buttons similar to the bold and italic but for LTR mode and RTL mode, this will make it easy to switch directions.

FlowerI had the same issue in evernote and they didn't seem to fix it and I changed my program to notesnook that fixed it.
I discovered this amazing app. But the typing system only supports English writings. Meaning if you write in arabic or farsi, or a mix if those with english it won't do well and you have to constantly change things which is a pain. This defeats the purpose to move any notes to the program in the first place.
For reference look at obsidian and notesnook -
