Real restore from backup - Add an "Import Amplenote" option

This sounds very important to me. Amplenote can't restore a backup easily as it don't reconstruct Tags hierarchy. This is stressing me a lot lol. Please copnsider adding a new "Amplenote import" button in addition to evernote, roam and markdown buttons for a clean restore.
In addition, it could be a very good way to exchange a bunch of notes with their tags between users.

Importing Markdown exports created by Amplenote should remove the YAML preamble and apply the tags and the rest of the metadata.

I'm new to Amplenote (from Evernote) and am surprised to read that AN can't import its own notes. I'm now concerned about using AN. Is it true that this is not possible yet? Keeping the tag hierarchy is a must, as all notes with no tags are useless.

Hey Cynthia! Amplenote maintains all metadata about notes when exporting. We're just not implementing the actual interpretation of that data, but it's there and it doesn't get lost in the process. Please rest assured that this is on our list and it will get done!
