Need alphanumeric sorting in both directions
Currently the notes list can only be sorted by:
Last changed
Last changed by me
Last opened
Date created
There needs to be more:
Title alphanumeric ascending
Title alphanumeric descending
(My naming suggestions might not be the best, but you get the idea.)

Nick C Merged"Sort by" has an option for date created, but only most recent first. Could we have an option for reversing that?

MOI've run into this need as well. I use Amplenote to keep an annotated bibliography of books/journal articles and of authors. I've created a note for each author, and I link back to an author note whenever I mention that author elsewhere. The author notes are titled "Last Name, First Name," and all of these author notes are assigned the same tag. I'd like to be able to click the "authors" tag to pull up all my author notes, then alphabetically sort them by last name (the title), like an index.

Dannyascending and descending should be seperate place, where they can be applied to other metadata as well.

Amir Merged+1. Personally I like to create a subset of notes in the format "YYYY-MM-DD <note>". And then sort by the title in descending order. Currently I need to sort by A-Z and scroll to the bottom, which won't scale. This was a surprising limitation in my recent switch from Evernote.

Lucian System"Sort by option for ascending or descending" (suggested by <Hidden> on 2020-11-10), including upvotes (6) and comments (1), was merged into this suggestion.
