Allow editing text and tasks that are backlinked from the Backlinks tab
Currently, when a task is backlinked, it is not clickable/editable. It would be good if one could both complete and edit a task as part of a Note's backlink.

First step should be to see the correct state of a linked task to a note. I often link task to [[@peoplename]] to see what I need to talk about with them but it shows all task unchecked even if it is done. -

Victor Merged* Being able to edit text within backlinks of a note makes it super easy to make small edits to references to a page

EricUpvoted. I'd like to be able to check tasks as complete from backlinks (and then differentiate them as complete).

EricThe more I use backlinks the more useful I think this would be. It would be great if this could coincide with being able to differentiate complete and uncomplete tasks from the backlinks section.

StephenThis would be huge. I would use this to create a meeting agenda for a specific person — all tasks tagged @JohnSmith across all notes would generate my meeting agenda list, which I could then check off from the back links tab.

FinSimilarly, it would be great to be able to embed an editable note and/or its backlinks into a note.

weirdOne gotcha I hope this takes into account is that right now it seems like when you complete a subtask of something that's backlinked, it disappears as a child of that backlinked task. E.g.,:
Some Note
---
Backlinks
Some task [[Some Note
- child task
^ the child task only shows up in Some Note's Backlinks until you complete it (or until you complete Some task) :( -

joshn smithBacklinks are critical to AmpleNote and one of the most important features. This would go miles in helpfulness, especially for notes that primarily are comprised of backlinks.

Brad HawkinsI am super keen on this feature and it makes a heap of sense from an efficiency point of view.
I am particularly interested in the "merged" request to be able to edit text in a backlink.
For example, today a made a note relating to a recent meeting. I also mentioned/backlinked (in that meeting note) a date in the Daily Jots. Then, when I went to that Daily Jot, I can see the Meeting Notes, but in that screen I cannot edit them.
It would be so much more efficient if I could edit backlinks (like the one mentioned above) when in another linked note, rather than having to jump back and forth from note to note.
Without wanting to simplify the request, I would have thought that this was not only logical, but given the program itself, a fairly doable feature too.
